After 40 years of taking care of patients, Dr. Michael Schumacher has officially announced his upcoming retirement from dentistry. We’ve brought on Dr. Matt Paulson to our dental team, and we’re so excited for our patients to get to know him.

While it was a tough choice to fully retire from Schumacher & Bauer, Dr. Schumacher is excited for days filled with playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. Dr. Schumacher will fully retire at the end of the calendar year 2024. Thank you for decades of fantastic dental work, Dr. Schumacher!
Welcome Dr. Matt Paulson
If you haven’t met Dr. Paulson yet, he’s been with our dental team since June. He’ll be stepping into Dr. Schumacher’s role in the practice and will be working the same full-time schedule that Dr. Schumacher held starting January 2025.
Dr. Matt Paulson is an experienced dentist with more than 20 years of practice caring for patients in the Columbus area. His treatment and patient care philosophies match our team’s, and we’re thrilled to welcome him.
