What are dermal fillers?

Injectable dermal fillers are used for cosmetic facial enhancement. They are used to add volume to soft tissue in order to help fill in facial wrinkles to restore a smoother appearance. Fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid gel that is injected underneath the skin and are becoming an increasing popular alternative to plastic surgery.

How is it done?

After an in-office consultation to determine your needs, we inject the dermal fillers here in the office. Most of our patients get set up on a frequency that lines up with their dental cleanings so they can make the most of their regularly scheduled visits.

Who is a good candidate?

Typically around ages 35 to 40 you start to lose facial fat and experience bone loss. When folds begin to appear and you start to have the appearance of wrinkles or volume loss, you are a candidate for dermal fillers.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Fillers are FDA approved and are safe for wrinkle and line management when injected where they are intended.
